Hi all.
I just found out that my direct competitor just broke one of the more serious channel guidelines of Youtube.
So I am thinking of flagging his channel.
Anyone know how long it will take and what kind of things can be expected?
If there will be counter investigation on my channel due to my formal flagging on his channel, I'm good for it since I did not break any of rules/guidelines.
Thanks!

Why not flag his account from different gmail/youtube account to be on safe side for time being.

Btw, be extra positive that he is actually doing something that is against Youtube TOS, if not he will not get into trouble but the chances are you will get into it.

Thank you for the answer!
Yes, I can flag him from another youtube account of mine.
BTW, how can I get into trouble if my channel and videos are 100% legit?
I haven't bought views, subs, and followed Youtube rules 100% and even if my competitor is coming in with a machine gun, I don't think he can touch me since there is literally nothing that I did violate the rules of Youtube.
Is there something that I am not aware of?
Like, getting punished for simply flagging someone?

If he finds out it's you and wants to get back at you he could buy shitty views and bot your video to hell and back and that would hurt you big time.

According to Youtube guideline, "Flagging videos is anonymous - Users cannot tell who flagged a video. However, we do require you to be logged in to use our flagging tools."
Since flagging video is anonymous, I assume flagging channel is anonymous as well?
Or different rules apply?

Send the url to me and I can post it on the YouTube deputy forums for the admins to look at

YouTube deputy forums?
Isn't it an invitation only thing?
If you are a member, then, congratulations!
So, unless you are an invited official member, there's no way to directly communicate with the admins over there?
