Flagging an ad too many times. Now locked?

Is it possible that if you flag an add too many times with blacklisted proxies that Craigslist will "lock" the ad and make it impossible to remove? I have a particular ad I'm trying to remove and I flagged it about 70 times with unique US IPs. It was still up so I tried using a local computer and renewing the IP address (the last 2 numbers would change each time) and sent about 30 flags. It's still up.

I thought the local IPs would be unique enough to do the job. I'm wondering if the proxy IPs were blacklisted and CL noticed something was going on so marked the ad as legitimate or something.

#1. Craigslist discussion is not allowed on bhw.

#2. There are not too many people that would help you with this question (even if it were allowed) because most people here (including myself) have absolutely no respect for someone who would rather flag other peoples ads, instead of just being competitive.

I'm not trying to flag a competitors ad, I'm trying to remove an ad that someone put up with my phone number in it.

I apologize if this is against the rules though. I read the rules and only found things about Craigslist posting.

Ah. Ok. My apologies. I feel like an idiot now :D Anyways, but yes. CL discussion is not allowed here :)

I doubt that's the case.

Why would someone put up an ad with your phone number in it, other than for prank purposes? You could flag that from your home internet with no worry.

And yeah, CL talk isn't allowed.

I guess you could call it a prank. More-so malicious intent. Someone got upset with me and threw my number up there. And I have flagged it with my home internet. Using different IPs, a few different browsers, and clearing cookies and other data between each flag. That's what makes me think it's locked. Or perhaps CL doesn't like all the IPs being from the same ISP.

I dont think so because then I would purposely report some IPs and have them blacklisted and then try to flag my OWN ad so I can make that ad impossible to flag. Right Now I'm achieving a 80%+ flag success rate.

I had created again new craigslist account with new IP address. I wrote unique title & body text & published it without image. But at the end of the day the same is still same. They flagged my ads again. I don't know what to do now. I know the instruction which you guys giving me are correct, but don't know what's happing. Any other suggestion for that.
