Hey guys,

So I've been doing the organic IG growth thing for about 4 years & came across the forum & FL just recently. I've had my account (clothing brand) for 4 years and I'm considering investing in FL as with IG's new algorithms's etc it's getting hard, way too costly (time) & I'm not seeing the results I'd like too.

Instagram is where I make the most sales & I'm deathly afraid of getting banned or flagged as a result of using FL too aggressively. If I go with FL, I plan to use it for Liking & Following primarily as it seems (through my own testing) that IG's coming down hard on comments (i.e: refusing me posting the same comments at different time intervals). I've researched a lot on here & see many older FL posts but since the game seems to change with IG daily, this is why I'm creating this new post.

My questions:

1. What "safe" entry level settings would you recommend (you can DM if you like)? Getting hundreds of followers a day would be great, but hell, if I could get 30-100 a day while maintaining an "Under the radar" approach would spell success to me!

2. I do have a store link in my bio & it seems from what I've read that this might be an issue on IG's radar? Or do you think that bc I've had the acct for so long that this could be an advantage?

Respect for reading & assisting me in my journey, I've worked too hard on my line for so long & it's time to be self-employed! With a baby on the way time's a ticking :)

What is the safe setting? This question comes up alot on here.

Safe settings depends on a lo of factor. I would suggest you start with a moderate daily limits and run it a week and increase. With aged accounts, you are not going to get bad right off the bat. You will get temp bans and that is an indication that your settings may be too aggressive.

I only do comments and likes. With a 8 months old acc, I have been liking on a daily basis (1k a day). Start with half and work your way up.

Ok, and I'm assuming once you purchase FL they have their own tutorials & recommendations in there which explain everything?

I'm not sure about the tutorials since I can't remember that but I'm 100% sure that all the setting will be preset to a default/recommended value (which is a bit lower than what I'm currently using)

Yes, there is also a recommended setting suggestion on their guide as well. Not a lot of customers view the guide page though. Everything is explained on there.

Btw, the tutorial is mostly text and images. No videos.

Don't ever consider using the default settings. In my opinion, if you have a lot of followers already with decent engagement, you shouldn't start botting. In the best case your engagement would drop (not 100%, but a lot of members think that botting reduces the engagement).
If you still want to bot, just do higher delays (40+ sec) and start with lower follows and likes. Not too low but don't start with 1k. I'm using FL too on my 5 accounts with no problem, but if I'd have only 1, I'd definitely do it manually.
Your link is fine, dont touch it, don't change it. Only new accs are in trouble with links.

These are my experiences only, some may disagree with these. :)

As others have said, start slow. Build up over time, and eventually you will be able to run high settings. Patience is the key

I'm currently at about 6800 followers & by looking at my follower + stats over the years, about half the people that follow me eventually unfollow. I get about 80-100'sh likes on each photo as well so i'd say my engagements a bit low already?

Would you say to keep the likes at about 500 per day? What about the follows? Does anyone know why engagement drops?

80-100 likes is too low. with 5k followers I used to get almost 700 over 24hr. now it's down to around 500. this is what your aim should be. highly likely people are not from your target audience or they might be just bored with your content. but there's no exact answer why engagement drops, it's always a combination of factors

Read the tutorial and follow to the letter the words.
