Fixing things that don't need fixed

Ack! Hate when I start off with wrong assumptions and chase my tail in circles. I couldn't get wp plugins to update on a site I hadn't touched in a while. So I'm screwing around with file and folder permissions forever then finallly go to the download URL

WordPress Plugins Directory currently... unplugged. Back up soon.

duh. Hope I didn't break anything fixing things...
