Fix my IG engagement?

I bought a lot of giveaway followers in the past, and I have 110k followers, but my engagement is obviously really bad because of it.

How can I grow my IG organically, just post a lot of viral worthy reels? Or is it cooked forever and no way to save it, since IG first shows your reels to followers and if they don't engage it won't push further to the explore/for you page?

I am based in north america but the giveaways were mostly done in brazil for cheap.

Thankfully they aren't fake followers, maybe I drop 1k followers every few months only as a bleed.

The fake followers is definitely an issue, but the main issue (somewhat related to it) is audience mismatch. If most of your followers are from Brazil but your content targets North America, the early performance of your posts likely won’t align well with your target audience.
There's a few things you can do for that but you might have to try a lot of different things to set that right. IG usually tests content beyond your followers so it is possible to bounce back from that.
 
slowly retrain the algorithm, post niche-focused Reels consistently, ignore follower count, and let new viewers replace the old audience over time
 
You're cooked. You need to find a service that sell engagement that come from your own followers or it will be useless and to compensate for 110K followers it will cost a lot
 
I don't think you can fix that. If it's been months, as someone else said you're cooked.

start a new page, but try to migrate your current active followers to the new page. Collab with your new page on every post. tag your new page in every caption.

You're cooked because you bought fake followers and the fake followers don't engage with your content.
 
Big mistake would be trying to fix it with bought engagement, you’ll just dig the hole deeper.
 
Bro, you’re not cooked at all, 110k with dead giveaway weight just means the account needs a reset, not a funeral. Instagram still pushes reels to non-followers and the game now is retention, shares, saves, and DMs, not just follower count.
You can use the account, but stop thinking post more and start thinking make every post hit hard in the first 2 seconds. If the content is clean, original, and shareable, the page can bounce back even with weak old followers

Your followers are wrong audience so reach is dead. IG shows to them first and they dont engage so it stops.
 
You need to to make sure that the reels you are posting, match the content that you have. That will help it get to the explore page and get exposure. In addition, make sure you are using hashtags aswell, that is vital.
 
You're doomed because you bought fake followers and those fake followers don't interact with your content. Just use a new account.
