Fix a two-factor authentication problem

Hi Guys,

I can't access my account due to 2FA; I lost my phone, and my Facebook account was linked to the authenticator app. Now, I can't open the account and I can't provide ID. There are no options to provide the ID to Facebook either from a mobile phone or pc, as shown in the screenshot. Please help find a solution, whether through any way to provide the identity to Facebook or any other solution you can think of.

I had the same problem as you, instead of trying to fix the problem I threw it away
 
Besides phone, do you have a link to email? Please go to your email to check if there is a 2fa code. If not, maybe you should abandon this account

Thank you for your awareness, but what does authentication have to do with email? This account is linked to all my pages and business, unfortunately.

I haven't linked the authenticator app to Gmail account

Try logging in with email to see if it works
 
Had this exact same problem a few weeks ago.

Turns out that when you have facebook ads they make you do 2Fa. Since you probably did it and forgot which authentication app you used the only way for you to unlock your account is to submit them 2 forms of government ID.

I tried downloading the authentication apps but that did not solve the problem since unless you know which app you used and what the login is. Also since you didn't use your cell phone number as the 2fa trying to have them send you a code to your mobile number will not work.

You have to click "need another way" and keep clicking through to get to the point where you can upload your ID. Another thing is that you have to take an actual picture of your id with your phone and not have an image to upload, it has to be a live picture.

For me this was the only solution since facebook uses bots and there is no way to email or speak to an actual facebook rep about this issue.

what do you mean?

you personally can't or it doesn't give you the option?

I think it's better for you to give up. I see that when you have an email and open it, Facebook also requires a 2fa authentication code to let you log in
 
i think you can contact with Support Facebook to find the reason, they'll help you to check
 
You can use gmail to verify, and if facebook does not send you a code notification to your phone number, wait 6-10 days for the phone number to receive a response from facebook. wait for luck
