Fiverr

Hello there!

I have had lots of good advice from this forum before so I thought I would ask again...ask and you will receive!

I am in the midst of a Fiverr method doing gigs that take 2 mins for me to do but can be quite valuable for people who don't know how to do them.

An example is "I will set up a google alert for you for $5", and to answer the question of...why would anyone be on a site like Fiverr if they couldn't handle setting up a google alert? Well I have gotten hold of an opt in email list of business owners, I have been able to set up a mail to go to them to entice them into the deal. My first mail went out to 1400 people and I made $8, so I thought, cool! However my next email and subsequent two emails have made nothing!

Does anyone have any suggestions to get me off the ground here, is my method nonsense? Is there anything I should be doing like buying traffic to get my ratings up?

I think that it would be better to offer something that's actually valuable(, more or less). Because before caring about saving your time, you've to care about getting some decent sales. Plus, you don't really have to sell any service for five bucks. You can always write in your description "the cost is # gigs", "the cost is one gig for every # words/secs/whatever"

One of the best things to do to garner a bit of starting success on Fiverr is look over lots and lots of the most popular gigs. Just duplicate a few of the Gigs that interest you and fit your talents but make each of your Gigs a little more valuable then the one you copied. Just add a little something more into the Gig. You should start seeing sales and learning the ins and outs of Fiverr business in no time. This research can also often spark your own unique ideas as well.

I think that going with fiverr as a beginner is one of the easiest things that a person can do. You just have to make a bunch of gigs.

Actually, I found it hard to get buyers with a fresh account, even with a profile picture and biography. Fiverr search queries usually yield the gigs that are popular..

Don't just rely on Fiverr's system to push your gigs. Promote them yourself outside Fiverr through SEO, forums, video, social media, etc.

yeah I have seen lots of people effectively using squeeze pages that are getting ranked just for their fiverr gigs , so you do need to promote yourself

I'd say go through the gigs on the site and Find a valuable skill that you can replicate and offer it to the customer post them on sites which pay you like $27 and more like Outsourcerr (dhot khom)
