Compare your gig with other best selling gigs. See what is missing in your gig. Modify your gig according to that. Also to kick start your sales, you can buy you own gig using another gig and leave a good review. you can even offers some bonus too..

i have a few gigs on fiverr too, but i never made sales. but once you make sales, they just keep on coming..!

I'm just started out too. Copying the format of a good seller is smart, not cheap. I mean if it works it works.
I made my first gig today, just go into the 'buyer requests' and make bids. I figure starting out with a low figure and multiple revisions, someone can't really be too wary to give you a chance.
Also no stock images. I guess they don't do well.
Making vids will help too, you can actually order them.

start off cheap to get some orders then raise up the price once you get established - so whatever you are offering now, just double the word count or something.

You need a sales channel.

All kinds of products have a share of the different markets.
