I use fiverr and run all my gigs on a spare computer.. I make sure of this, everything I can do can be done quick or I spread the gigs out over days so it does not interfere with my own business.. There are some asshats on there, but not just the sellers..Its like a mini me version of the warrior forum, full of broke ass idiots moaning about what can they get for $5..but there a lot of companies and people on there who are willing to spend more than a fiverr as well..
Feedback is everything and if you want to avoid any sort of bad feed back you have to provide 100% proof that the gig has been done properly.. As soon as your feedback builds up orders will start coming in.. I dont really look at fiverr as making money from gigs.. The money I make is on the backend.. you have to be careful here too. If fiverr catch you giving out your email or skype address they will ban you.. I have been warned because of this. If you are smart you will find a way round this and not just by typing out at and dot in the email.. they are wise to this.. Fiverr staff do read messages as well so you have to be a bit creative.
If you are only interested in making money from gigs the only two things you need to watch out for is your feedback and the wording.. Just changing a word or two can turn a dead gig into a good one.
I see a lot of people selling stuff ..from here...all I can say about your gigs is this...If you teach a man how to fish you lose a customer. .. Don't sell any tools or anything that allows people to do things for themselves, that is plain stupid.
1. They dont want them or they wouldnt be on fiverr would they?
2. you are giving business away.
If you still can't work out what to sell... Mcdonalds is round the corner...
Whatever I sell I have my eye on the backend..Remeber a lot of these people are clueless and do not have any idea about anything..instead of trying to rip them off sell them more stuff.. I have made shitloads out of some people just by replying to some messages and helping them, lots of them come from the warrior forum and are fed horseshit about everything.
As for volume of sales.. for me at least it has gone mental in the last month and if you think Fiverr is too competitive you are in the wrong business.
