I used to hire people from fiverr few years ago to do small work like scraping: emails/phone numbers, send DMs etc.
in those kind of gigs i never really noticed the quality of the work that was provided because i just needed the data or get things done which are not directly linked to the quality of MY products.
sometime later, I went on to hire someone for a gig and he couldn’t make the product as per my requirement which i already explained him like, million times, after 3 revisions I just made the product myself and thought it might be only that guy who couldn’t do what he advertised.
But, recently I went to see the listings for video editing, making ad campaigns, general social media marketing stuff like that, and HOLY SHIT the quality of the services that are provided for the price just made me think who are these dumb mfers who are buying the services from these clowns. its a f*king joke.
I understand most of the top reviews, comments might be fake and the reviews which provide video proof or the completed product that was delivered seems like literal shit(compared to the price)..
there’s always a high tier category of FLers who are providing exceptional service/Products for the money they demand, but there are only few of them and most people can’t hire them anyway due to their relatively high ask. Also these “high quality” FLers find clients easily who wanted to hire them full-time or they are involved in high-budget projects most of the time
