Fiverr sucks!!! I'm done!

People take $5 too seriously.

NO you won't get ANY support for $5 jobs as a seller and NO you won't get any decent support for $5 jobs as a buyer.

Honestly, its the concept Fiverr uses, where EVERYTHING is only for 5 dollars. People forgot this and just think of a purchase is a purchase so they expect their purchase to yield so much more than what 5 dollars could afford.
 
Yeah, Fiverr is kind of a broken system, even trying to sell YouTube views (that's what I did) was difficult, because people would know they were mobile views, as I would tell them, but still complain afterwords about the views being mobile. Fiverr is a very interesting place to sell things, for the good and the bad.
 
I was selling List of 15K+ High PR links on Fiverr and my clients thought that i will create 15K backlinks for their websites for only $5, LOL

They never read description carefully then ask for a refund.
 
My opinion is all of the time, hassle and shit Fiverr sellers deal with to make $5 they could invest their time and
efforts into another category.

To be honest, the only fiverr gig I am interested in buying, is the one the stops noobs bumping old threads. I would even go to a tenner for that.

IMO Fiverr is great to use as a loss leader to upsell/cross-sell other services (looking at you alman!) or for some quick cash if you need some start-up money for domains, hosting and that. I haven't had any issues with them holding money but between Paypal fees and the 20% fee to Fiverr per gig sold it doesn't really seem worth it to do most things and expect Fiverr to pay the bills in a first world country.

I know this was a joke post, but building in an automatic timeout for threads wouldn't be a bad idea. If nothing gets posted within x amount of days the thread gets automatically locked/closed.

stop complaining about fiverr, if you dont like it dont use it simple as that

the truth is, most of you need to have a website like fiverr to be able to make sales, otherwise you would build up a website and sell your service more expansive.

any of you guys thought about opening a bst here or somewhere else?

With fiverr there is a snowball effect, as long as you have enough decent people, the occasional bastard doesnt actually effect your rating very much at all
 
i had a seler who bought 4 gigs at a time after i deliverd he send me message 'perfect' and the he cancel all the orders i report it to support no help
 
Yeah I quit it for the same reason about a year ago.... tons of stupid customers and a non responding support team.
 
Well, it's like many people here say; buyers expect to get an ultra service for 5$ but chances are, if it looks too good, it probably isn't. And most processes are automated, for example, link building, so it's natural to leave them on autopilot and it's possible that the customer is going to feel scammed, but then again it's only 5$ and you can't expect much.
