So, first time I cashed out.

Hello Brizz Bane,

Just thought you'd like to know fiverr.com sent you $7.84 USD.

....Now I was pissed..because they already take 20%, so I want my $.16.

Sent them this:

another fee taken?!?: Why did you take another $.16 out of my balance when paying me????

Isn't 20% enough?!

Hi Brizz,

As you may know, transferring funds has its costs. PayPal currently charges their customers 2%, and up to a maximum of $1 of the transferred sum when sending money to their account.

Tip: if you are not in a hurry to withdraw your funds, it is better to wait until you earn more than $50 before you withdraw.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you,
Julia

Yes. I am aware payPal charges a fee--however, paypal doesn't charge me a fee because of my account type---I received funds the other day, and there was no fee taken out.

Just to make sure--I checked, because I was pretty sure you were lying to me (which at first I was very surprised).

...Soo..according to your email, the reason I didn't receive the full $8.00 was because Paypal charged me a fee...correct?

.....am I missing something? I am seriously pissed. ...if they are doing this to everyone...thats crazy. ...its only $.16... but I'm pissed they already took $1/5 ...

....so...they just straight up lied to me, correct??

edit: If they are...this could VERY eaqsily be class action-able...right? (not lawyery..at all.. that means charging for concern of a group..yes?)

Hi Brizz,

Correct. The reason why all sellers on Fiverr do not receive the full amount of funds is due to the 2% Paypal transfer fee on all withdraws from Fiverr. This 2% fee caps out at $50 (or $1 taken) and applies to all revenue withdraws from Fiverr.

Regards

How dare they take .16 cents, i think u can sue the best advice i can give is hire a lawyer might cost you 6k-10k and sue fiver for $1.00 if your representation is really good you might get $2.50 I think u have a case im behind you all the way.

If you are not able to read, thats not the part of fiverr....

PayPal's charges 2% of the total withdrawal sum, and up to a maximum of $1 when withdrawing revenues. Withdrawing $50 or more in one go will save you a little cash.

oh, fiver is using mass payments to pay you guys, thats good, as the fee is damn low.

i can't believe fiverr would even reply back to your stupid ass, i know i wouldnt

Get out of here...

yea they take 1$ from every gig you do. It sucks but it is a good place to get customers.

Well I can understand and admire that you are a guy who stands behind principles. Although the mannerism is comical. Don't reply to Fiverr or any other established site, actually to anyone with such hostility.
