Are they any good? I'm debating on whether I should use fiverr, adwords, or regular solo ads to start building my list. What do you guys/gals think?

You get what you pay for. I'd go with adwords first, then solo ads, then fiverr.

solo ads for just $5 is just crap solo ads. nugh said!

The majority of the time it will be crap. Most people with a quality list will not allow you to send any offers to it for only $5.
