Fiverr ruined everything for me

I'm sorry for your loss in status, but Fiverr is SOOO BADDDD! I was on Fiverr until Oct 2014. I was a Top Seller for over 2 years, thousands of orders, and a perfect 100% ranking. I sold on there in the "thumbs up" days and under the current "star" system. I had a featured gig, too. I did everything above board, and even promoted Fiverr in HP from time to time. But their rules and algorithms are ALWAYS CHANGING! So is there website format. I quit last Halloween. There are always new search criteria options being added for the buyers, new rankings systems being put into place that dictate "Top Rated" buyers (for example, a buyer with 10 reviews can be more highly ranked than one with a perfect score and several thousand happy customers), new fees being added (it's now $5.50 to buy a gig, not $5), and millions of other "things" that the average seller has no idea about. It's all a BIG SECRET! As a seller, you have NO Control over that site. You can't really create a consistent gig-management plan. It's feast or famine. Never put your business and finances into someone else's control. You'll be manipulated each and every time.

Wow, that is exactly what happened to me back in 2011/2012 when I became Level 1 seller and everything started to go down hill when one competitor brought a gig and literally before anything could be done, he made a long negative feedback stating his bogus forum site never got any posts which had me so disheartened. I wouldn't suggest Fiverr to those who want to make a living however it is very possible to make five figures in a few months with the right amount of services and good maintaince but it can be very short lived and extremely fast with my situation, after that one negative feedback, I never got a single order again for around 2 weeks but prior to that one occasion, I had six orders a day.

As Oscarthedog just stated which is shocking, they put the gig price up to 5.50 which ruins the whole fiverr concept personally adding additional 50 cence to each order when they started out with good intentions, Fiverr has somewhat lost its way.

I might actually go back and use the same formula I did back than and see how Fiverr is doing now because I have heard that six figures now is not uncommon which is amazing overall.

pick yourself up and get back in the game, any game

Hi,

I received Level 2 Seller Tag one day back. Now am not getting any orders.

Why ? Help me guys

you should contact with their support they will definatly solve your issue man

This is why I use a redirect script when promoting my gigs. If Fiverr throws a hissy fit and ban my account, I then simply create another gig, then redirect my links (actual traffic) to the new one. Or set up your own site and don't pay Fiverr's crappy 20% commission.

Be smart!

That is pretty intelligent and long term would definitely be something to actually focus on. Direct the traffic as much as you can and build a client based business where they can direct off you.

Just curious: If the BAN your account, how do you set up another gig? Do you create a new account? Do you use a new name and PayPal? Do you use a new IP? Fiverr amin seems to be uber-savvy..and getting savvier. lol Thanks

Set up a new account with a proxy, and register with any free email address. Add the new email to your Paypal account.

This is why you spread the risk with 2 or 3 accounts, as 5'er staff are idiots.

Just make sure to login to Fiverr with the new IP every time!

I don't see how that's Fiverr's fault, they didn't do anything. It's just that your business is dropping.

Did the support resolve your issue in the end?

I think you should follow most people's advice here and contact their support team. There must be a reason for downgrading your account.

Better still, why not try some gig exchanges and get back to level 2 and see if there's any chances?

When you get upgraded to Level 2 you will experience a little bit of set back. Make sure you have returning customers to keep you warm in these days lol

4 orders in 9 days? Well hey that's 4 more orders than I have made on fiverr. I have been on fiverr for months and have not made a single penny so consider yourself lucky that at least you are making money on there. For what it's worth none of my gigs are making me a penny and I am offering more for each of my gigs than any of my top rated sellers are offering combined for the same service. But since you are so concerned I'd say contact fiverr and see what they can tell you about this I am sure there must be a reason why this happened to your account.

If you haven't done anything against their terms or had bad reviews then it may be a mistake. I've seen people in the forms get downgraded and then when they talk to customer service it was just a mistake so hopefully that's the case for you too!

Its ok i know now what i have done wrong and how to get to the top. I have talked to a guy i became friends with who gets 30-50 orders a day. He told me how to rank my gig so i will try that:)
