You pay someone $8, they receive about $7.30 after the Paypal fee.
They buy your gig on Fiverr and pay $5+2= 7 dollars.
So they get to earn about .20-30 cents ouf the deal.
Why would anyone do that? I mean, maybe someone will, for whatever reason, but... no dude

Fiverr review wanting sellers should give a decent amount for review.
Paypal takes more money for conversion as well from Dollar to different currency.

Keep in mind the OP cannot reply in here, but playing Devils Advocate here, maybe ( just maybe ) this $9 was the fee on top of the gig price?
