I made a Fiverr account in the summer but completely forgot about it. I never got round to promoting it. ( It was a custom music page. )

So my first ( and only ) order comes in a few days ago to my surprise. Since creating that account I have started earning far more in other areas on line, but knew I was obligated to fulfill this order.

This person wants a 90s hip hop beat. So I go about making this beat for him ( took roughly an hour ) only to get an order rejected notification. I then apologise and send another 3 songs from my archive, also rejected. I then make a 2nd beat, spending a little longer...also rejected.

I'm not one to toot my own horn but I know for a fact that the product I produced was better quality than the competition which I bought in the summer to see the standard. I now understand why so many have given up on Fiverr. To make a beat can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3-4 hours, and when your only getting $4 ( £2.46 for me ) for it, its a less than half of minimum wage just for people to whine and want more for their money.

Your ordering on FIVERR get a grip!!!!

Account has been swiftly deleted. And yes, I only tried it once and maybe gave up too soon. But since then I've moved on and upwards and can't imagine having to rely on that as income in my field of work.

As people say, make your Fiverr offer something that you can do at the click of a button. Don't work your ass off as some people can't be pleased!

May I welcome you with open arms to my clone. We get about 50 musicians that buy services EVERY DAY from our site. You can also list your services for up to $50 with gig extras available.

I also (as the site owner of MyCheapJobs) take every job listed at my site and make a twitter page for each one that hunts down potential customers

    Why thank you!

Well looking back, at the time I was just trying to get a piece of everything. Now I'm a lot more secure with the occasional gig here and there with good pay. No point in working my ass off for $4 for ungrateful people. Since then I have met several nice buyers who communicate well and pay me what they think its worth. Whether thats £20 or £500 the mutual respect is nice!

Fiverr is cheap in every meaning of this word. Both for sellers and buyers.

Selling high demand ebook compilations, software results (like scrapebox lists) or other push-button, gig done jobs seem to me the only things that are worth the effort and are time sparing to do on Fiverr. Other services just seem to be too time intensive, or sad stunts.
