Should I focus on one niche on my first gig ?
For example I would say "I will write an article about beauty and skincare"
This has a specific niche and I'll offer the low package for $5
but what if I do like this
"I will write any kind of article from any topic chosen"
Ins't this more profitable like we aim for every kind of niche on fiver writings , for the same $5 we are telling we can write any kind of article
Which one is better ?

Just keep in mind, writing on only one niche will severely limit the number of people you can cater to, and while specializing in a niche or field at times is a good idea, on Fiverr, there is tons of competition so you should set up unique gigs for each niche you want to cover and then maybe launch another where you write on any topic, just be sure to focus on getting reviews as good ratings and lots of reviews will help you get ranked in search results.

Go at it hard as some members here have had great success with Fiverr, it even paid for @William702's forty-acre ranch.

Hi! As someone with experience selling on Fiverr, here is my suggestion:

I have tried both methods; specific niches and offering writing for any niche. Personally, I have had success with both methods, so I combined both. Although I don't do much business on Fiverr anymore as I don't like having to constantly please their algorithm, I have one writing Gig that says I will write on any topic and about 8 or 10 others that are niche-specific. This is a good idea because your one Gig might be able to get some traffic, but it will be hard because of the competition on the platform. However, even if your Gig on all topics doesn't take off, you still have your niche-specific services to rely on.

Hope this helps!

@coltonc Thanks for the advice but did you get more sales on the " I will write on any topic" gig than the specific niche gigs?

Here is an overview of the number of reviews I have on each Gig:

Niche #1 - 40 reviews
Any Topic - 32 reviews
Niche #2 - 21 reviews
Niche #4 - 4 reviews
Niche #5 - 3 reviews
Niche #6 - 3 reviews
Niche #7 - 2 reviews
Niche #8 - 2 reviews
Niche #9 - 1 review
Niche #10 - 1 review
Niche #11 - 1 review
Niche #12 - 1 review
Niche #13 - 0 reviews

You will get lots of impression onn general niche, but few clicks (as your gig wont be ranked so fast)
on the other hand, you will receive less impression on niche, but quality click. it will be good choice i think.
I am also following this.

As an initial step, I would suggest writing an article in any niche, so that you will get orders for different topics & you will definitely receive more inquiries (any specific topic). Thus, you can find out what are the most specific requirements of the clients and determine which topic is most needed (searching).
And, make another gig on that specific topic to attract more clients. ;)

You can identify keywords with the highest search volume. After toy can create a few gigs for most valuable niches.

If you go with general it will be good, but you need to use perfect keywords.

I think this keyword feature is only available to seller plus members. If you dont mind me asking can you tell me how you got seller plus? what are your stats and ratings? I am a level 2 seller and have applied for seller plus but still no response from fiverr.
