It will be helpful if you promote right way . most of the people wrote 2 sentence and put a promotion link . its a bad way to promote . you have to write a detailed answer so that people can understand you are expert on these field . Try to search your gig related topic and prepare a good detailed information with some unique an
I made a lot of Quora answers (hundreds) from different accounts. Quantity of clicks is extremely low.

Here's a twist you can use.
Since you have multiple accounts, upvote your answer with all other accounts whenever you post one. After upvoting, go to Edit Topic (click on those 3 dots below question) and add couple of more topics - related to your niche and question.
Now, click on Request Answers and Request from Quora from 1 or 2 accounts (on same question). Quora will distribute question to users interested in those topics and you'll get more views on question which means more views on your answer too.
With your other Quora accounts, click on Request again, but this time click on View More or Search at the bottom of Request section. Window will pop up and you'll see all topics that you've added to that question and users interested in those topics. Request answers from those users too. You can request answers from 15 users by using one account. They most probably won't answer, but they will check out the question and see your answer, maybe visit your link and eventually buy gig.
With enough accounts, Quora can be great source of traffic.
