Fiverr is doing correction in search algorithm
Today i opened my fiverr account after long time
and sawn this

many people were disappointed as their gigs were out ranked

Whats happening is if you search by name only one gig will show up in the search rsults. not necessarily your most profitable one
 
I contacted them more than a few days about the problem, I'm sure a lot of people have. You could click a sidebar category link and the same 3 pages of gigs would show up day after day and I had no chance of selling a gig unless someone stumbled into it by a random search. They never got back to me about the problem, but hopefully they'll fix it.
 
lol... why are people talking about the fiverr search as if it is there to promote their gigs?
And if you don't show up it's a bug?
Are you complaining about google the same way?

It's their search, they configure it the way they want to serve the goals they have for it. Deal with it, adapt.
 
Well in the past 24 hours ive had 20 orders.... 10 more than normal!

Could be from the search or could just be luck and my external marketing... who knows!

Fiverr is really making big mess for SEO guys... so cheap as hell things man..How one finds it good or bad signs?
 
They are doing this to refresh the results. If you are always looking for something like "Wiki submission" you would love to see new gigs ranking every now and then to get new services instead of buying the same service again and again.

That's just what I think.
 
Guys all you have to do is increase the keyword density. I'm new to fiverr (been there for about 2 weeks) and I used to get ~3-5 orders a day then I had no orders for about a week. I tried adding a video, changing the title, making my gig express, adding new images and nothing worked.
Yesterday I changed my description and every second work was the keyword I am trying to rank for. I've just checked my account - 10 new orders.

PS: the new updates at fiverr are made to help new sellers get orders. Try making a new account maybe it will work.

Omg this bullshit i have 7 accs and no orders.
 
My friend just got 2 gigs in a day and usually he gets 2 gigs in a month. Maybe it boosted him up.
 
Any ideas on what they gives more power now? Interesting to see how can I rank in their searches. Thanks

Agreed, hopefully after one week or so it will be better for the buyers to separate good gigs from bad gigs and discover some great new gigs :)
