Fiverr Gig Cancelled By Admin - Read This Crazyness!!!

Logged into Fiverr today and I have a message saying

"Order was cancelled by Fiverr Admin."

No problem....BUT

It was a $30 order that I completed back in Oct 2012 :261:

The guy got a refund....

I love Fiverr and I think it's a great place to make $$$$$
But this takes the biscuit.. LOL

2012 order got refund? why it make a long time to get cancelled?
 
Exactly.... So even if after 14 days the money is cleared in your paypal
account, the money can still be refunded back to the buyer at anytime..

Even 9 months down the line..LOL
 
I have also problems with fiverr. They don't want to pay me $8. I created a support ticket 2 weeks ago and any result :(
 
Nope....There is probably no point in me contacting Fiverr for
an explanation
 
Fiverr are absolutely terrible! I've had so many problems with them. I play by their books too. Fiverr support are terrible too. If I wasn't making so much through them, I would tell them to eff off. They are taking 20% of our earnings to treat us like this. It's good for beginners, but the sooner people move away from their site the better.

PS: Recently Fiverr got a upgrade is it because of that ?
 
NO, the order was $30 but obviously I get $3.97 per gig

So I lost 23.82 to be precise :p
 
Don't some credit card companies allow really long chargeback periods?

It could explain why the order was cancelled, though I'm just guessing. If someone had filed a chargeback, paypal took the money back, Fiverr aren't gonna take the loss out of their own pocket. Just an idea, though I'm not sure if any CC companies offer such large chargeback periods as I said.
 
You should definitely contact them to find out why.
 
It's happened to me a dozen or so times, never bothered to ask why. Sometimes they were just orders where the guy never submitted anything, other times they were for completed orders. Most likely fraud chargebacks.

The things people do... I worked for that $30 even though
it only took me 7mins to complete the order

That Money was mine!!!!!

I agree man. What would be the best course of action? I feel like they are going to do this to me soon.

There's probably not a whole lot you can do. I wouldn't worry too much though, one of my accounts has 1,200 completed orders and I have one "cancelled by admin" cancellation that I can remember.
