Only things I can think; either they're extremely stupid, or just want a little entertainment, think horoscopes and shit like that, I remember when I was a kid shopping centres had these wizard machine things you put in $2, enter your name and date of birth and it prints you a sheet with some "spiritual" crap, totally pointless but some people seem to find enjoyment from that stuff. More money than sense perhaps
