Fiverr: content quality vs cost

Hey,

I am looking at Fiverr for website content and am wondering if anyone has had any positive experiences. I see lots of talented people advertising on Fiverr and costs appear to be low.

Can anyone speak to positive experience buying web content?

What are your opinions on cost vs quality?

For $5, don't expect quality.

I never had positive experiences buying web content on fiverr.

I know people who write 1000 words for $5, 1000 words that are worth at least $20.

There are people on fiverr that deliver high quality... but they will charge $5 for 100 to 300 words and you will need to buy a few gigs to get a nice sized article.

there are a few decent content gigs on fiver but the waiting time is usually about a week.

I ended up making a purchase to see what kind of quality I'd get in return.

I paid $40 for a graphic to be designed. I specified the 5 colors it should be comprised of, supplied a website whose color scheme the graphic should align with, provided the copy text and specialized fonts.

I got back a graphic that contained one of the five colors I provided. As you can imagine the graphic looks like shit on the website because the colors are totally different. They decided not to use the specialized fonts I provided.

I'm now waiting on a 'modification' request......... bologna
