Fiverr Clone Promotion!!!

Hello,

I want to start a fiverr-like website in my country, because there isn't any similar website available here.
What is the best way to promote a website like that? I mean if I launch the website there will be 0 gigs..and nobody creates gigs on a website where there are 0 Gigs. I can't create fake Gigs because someone could buy them thats not reputable..
What do you guys suggest me to do??

my advice is not to make clone of any sites. get your own idea..

Regarding Marketing it purely depends on your niche.
 
Social media, forums and viral marketing always be best way for marketing.
 
There are a couple of users here who run similar sites, and yes, like someone says you have to think of a new idea, if you can actually build a fiverr clone, then it would be much better a fresh idea, such as a trade site, or a different way of working site, like an auction idea,

if you're creating a fiverr clone for your country then go to biggest marketing forums in your country, build some rep, start promoting your site while basically working for free - no fees, no nothing, just a great platform for posting gigs securely and free. Once you'll have 100+ gigs on your site, introduce a minimum fee to not go to minus. Maybe offer some incentive for users who promote their gigs on your site, maybe referral system... As already mentioned, you need to be different if you want to get noticed.

Go to sites like microworkers and pay them $.10 to sign up so you get a seller base going. They will sign up and post

Step 2.

Use massive social media accounts to follow potential buyers and tweet/post to them. They will buy if it is done correctly

better to invest in time making your blog OR any service that helps really will make you alot of bucks instead try to compete with Big giant directly it's my advice ;)
