It looks like Fiverr changed their search and now when you search a word there is no Filter option.

I really don't like that. Do you ?

I noticed that too. Such a pain. Maybe they will roll it back...
 
Horrible, I was getting 2 to 3 orders by day, but today I have received none. I sent an email to support, let see what happens...
 
I doubt that they will care...they are placing more emphasis on the top sellers which helps them make more money.

But that's the question, i'm top seller, and my gig is now at page 4, and new gigs are on the page 1.

how's that? you can't order the gigs by popularity or rating anymore
idk if it's good for new sellers or not, but it's not good for top sellers, that's a sure thing
i haven't noticed this until now, at least i know now wth has happened with the amount of orders i used to get per day :)
 
Their website is strange, my gig got on the first page for a certain one word keyword and now I'm getting very less to no orders...

you have less orders now? Send him an email, like I did, asking the filter again...

Open a ticket about it, the search filter must go back again...
 
Sounds like they're trying to make the searches more random.....So the Same gigs aren't always on top... It's definitely not a traditional Algo they're using.... I never had luck with fiverr anyway's....

just my take on it....

that was before they made this update, now if you do multiple search with a keyword, the same gigs come up in the exact same order

pretty interesting algo that's for sure: the first results are not the newly created gigs, are not the gigs of top rated sellers, are not the top rated gigs, are not the most popular gigs, they seem to be random, but always the same
 
Their answer to my ticket:

"Please keep in mind that we are constantly optimizing our search and content discovery functions to provide more sellers with equal opportunity to get exposure and potential sales.Regards,
Ryan"
 
This might explain why I posted a gig and have had 21 orders in the last 3 days. Must have got lucky and always got put at the front!
 
I don't like the change at all. It's harder to find some good gigs now.
 
They are making something...probably. Cant be like that. Its super stupid and useless now. I think they are creating a new filter system. They wanna help the top sellers, but the system is not ready yet...or i hope so.
