Upwork is great, often better than fiverr for some bigger or ongoing projects that you are not sure on the cost. But be careful, they have a big issue with fake accounts there (lower skilled workers charging a lot by using someone elses account).

I am a level 2 seller at fiverr. From my experience:
1. Seoclerks is an alternative to fiverr , not a better alternative.
2. Freelancer, upwork, guru are not an alternative to fiverr.
Why.
Fiverr is a marketplace of services. So buyers come looking for your service. Seoclerks is same.
While freelancer, upwork, guru etc are job posting board where freelancer bid against each other.
