Hey BHW members!
I would like to know about Fiverr algorithm! How Fiverr rank a Gig? How a newbie can grow his profile?
waiting for your expert Opinion!

I'm also on Fiver not so long ago, I communicate with many potential buyers, but there are not many sales. I think that you need to either buy ads from them or buy reviews. Too much competition on Fiverr.

Well, I have no clue to be very honest, BUT I suspect it is random and goes up and down.

If you look at my own thread you can see my screenshots, at first it slightly climbed up and then crashed down, then it SHOT up (hit level 1 seller) and crashed down.

Goes up and down, up and down in a weekly rythm.

But as a complete beginner I think you need to get reviews, reviews, reviews. Buy them here on the marketplace if necessary or write me a PM, if you like.

I think you won't make a lot of money before you reach at least level 2 seller or top seller on fiverr. I know a guy who faked all the way to the top.
Just be careful, because the very same guy finally got real orders but sucked at what he was doing so he dropped quicker than he rose.

Fiverr ranking consists of many factors like age of account, response time and more things.

I think response time is not a big factor, neither is age of account. My account exists since 2017.

Just want to add a related note - I can tell you from experience that cancelations will KILL your ranking. I was a level 2 seller and had people buy my gig expecting me to do something I don't do. Despite the fact that I wasn't in the wrong and had to cancel, my ranking tanked. This happened when I canceled the order, when the buyer canceled, and when Fiverr canceled it for us. Just something to keep in mind.

In my opinion
1.Use the fiverr search bar to find the right keyword for your service
2. Include the target keyword in the title
3. Rewrite the content from your competitor's sales person.
4. Include 3 to 4 times the target keyword in the description.
5. Use tags and categories
6. Create at least four sales gigs
7. Provide a detailed biography and profile of yourself.
8. Maintain 24/7 online availability and offer fast response times.
9. Use social media to promote your gigs and profiles.
10. Promote gigs on social media by investing in high-profile and communities
11. Do some fiverr exchanges.

I cancelled one order and was fine.

But I have a seller that I asked for more time, and they haven't responsed in 14 days. Now my deliver is "very late". What can I do?

The buyer has to be the one to grant the extension - if they don't, it will hurt your ranking. Just be honest with the buyer, people appreciate honesty.

Re: your one cancelation, if you cancel another one, it will impact your ranking.

I did quite well on Fiverr in the 2000 but asked for a lot of extensions, which I was always granted. Too many requests can hurt your ranking but not tank it.

I worked 3 years at fiverr. Level 2 seller with 400+ orders completed.

Its too saturated now and many online softwares are replacing players with genuine skill.
Its so competitive that some new account from developing or under developed countries want to offer extremely cheap rate of work which destroys the market place.

And there is sudden ups and Downs of gig impression out of nowhere.

Not to mention some buyers will just cancel your order and report you without any reason. Some Will give you way too many revisions.

From what a successful seller told me:

1) Response Time
2) Delivery Time
3)Reviews
4) Clarity of description on page

I'm sorry for seeing this message too late. In a situation like this, you should contact customer support asking to contact the buyer on your behalf. If they got no reply from the buyer too, they offer you to cancel the order without affecting your cancelation rate.
