I've been into instagram for two years now, using different bots and services but most recently I've added FL as my main bot.
This isn't going to be detailed, just some basic pointers.
I don't use instagram to make money of bullshit referral links or whatever the hell it is you guys are trying to plug to make 0.50c, so those of you in this for that, take this as a grain of salt because I don't know how relevant it is.
#1 SCRAPE USERS FROM BIGGER ACCOUNTS.
Seriously, fuck scraping users from hashtags, half the time you will end up following bots if you do this.
No matter how good you think your account is, there's someone in the same niche who is doing it better, they are established, their following is massive, TARGET THEIR FOLLOWING.
Recently I tested this by scraping a hashtag, my daily following was 50 users, half of which were bots themselves.
After scraping an account in the same niche and just following their users, the daily following was up to 250 a day.
#2 IF YOU'RE USING COMMENTS DIVERSIFY THEM.
Make comments that sound legit and can be applied to ANY post, you have no idea what the hell your bot is going to comment on, so plan for the best and the worst.
'Cool picture' is probably the easiest, it applies to absolutely anything on instagram, but diversify this, have over 60 unique comments and CHANGE THEM each month.
#3 GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING.
My main and largest account I have logged in on my phone, notifications barely stop but when I see someone has replied to a comment on their picture or if someone makes a comment directly to me on my account, I engage with them.
Think of your instagram as a business, you want the people that like your business to appreciate it and you do this by humanising them and yourself.
The other day I saw someone on here asking for a bot to reply to DM's because they claimed they didn't have time to respond to each message, this was for an e-commerce account. How the fuck does this person plan to retain users/get business if they are sending automated replies that the end user will know is automated?
#4 POST UNIQUE CONTENT.
Don't be fucking lazy, there is so much unique content out there it's not even funny, go on tumblr and find 60 images that you can share over the course of a month, it's going to take you an hour. Don't scrape another users content.
#5 KNOW YOUR LIMITS.
TEST. TEST. TEST. TEST.
Nobody is going to be able to tell you what your account can or can't do, I posted the other week that I SMASHED follows, unfollows, likes and comments by about 8x the 'standard' numbers. My account didn't get banned, it didn't get limited, each account is different, so just figure out how far you can push it, but don't try and do that daily.
