this journey will be split into two parts
I have edited some videos in the past and liked doing it. Then I was using windows moviemaker and could only do basic cuts.
Now I will be experimenting with Da Vinci Resolve, a much more advanced video editing program and I am looking forward to creating special effects and sick edits et cetera. Maybe I want to edit for others later if I don't know what content I want to produce. For this channel, I have a cool idea!
I will create unique content (I don't know how often yet) documenting a kind of journey.
I have been wanting to get started for a long time but I am stuck in the "I am doing research and procrastinating phase
" I think I am scared to start and don't feel ready. I am also extremely lazy and unfocused (partly because of BHW lol). I made myself a schedule with study time, project time and lazy time, so lazy time won't be the full day anymore
I won't be showing my face probably but I will use my voice to commentate on stuff. This is scary for me but I don't want to use robot voice (not fun to listen to as a viewer and not monetizable) and I don't want to pay people on Fiverr to do it for me, at least for now. Maybe if I get some income I can do that to scale like the amazing "Journey to 30K a month with Adsense" thread.
I can't remember the user that posted it, but I want to thank you because you have inspired and motivated me!
If you have tips to overcome procrastinating feel free to share!
2. Get my channel monetized: 1000 subs 4000 watch hours (sounds like a lot to me, I don't know why)
Then maybe start another journey where I get to €2000 a month but let me get monetized first
I bought an aged (2006) channel with some vids (that I deleted) from the marketplace.
Below are the stats
Views all time: 9,791
Suscribers: 13 subscriber
9.5 watch hours and 99% of the views were from 10 years ago
I have a logo already but will need a banner.
Besides that I am all set to start grinding I think.
I ordered a decent microphone with a tripod stand and a construction to attach it to my desk which will arrive on the 4th or 5th of May, very excited because I have been using a €20 euro headset with mic for years and my friends hate me for it...
