First Wordpress website

Hey guys building my first wordpress website for my real estate group... First post here long time lurker. I am pretty bright and great self teacher I am one of those people who rather learn and struggle and do it them self.

I wanted to get some input on what you guys think of placester. My only concern is will I still be able have full customization but starting from a better template as I am still a new. I have done some xblr and basic html coding when I was doing accounting so hopefully I can pick up some things quick. I have done some reading on creating a child theme and editing it but any point in the right direction could help.

Also is this ideal for SEO

Never used a theme from placester but if they are in the real estate niche then they are probably make better real estate themes than most. The good thing about most pro themes is that they are fully customizable without having to learn to code.

They do they also have IDX/MLS importing of data but I dont know how ideal it is for SEO.

Does anyone have experience with SEO for a Real estate site
