This is when you post your ad or message or link and it is visible to you and not visible to the rest of the world. You are living under the impression that it is live and kicking and the rest of the world has no idea you exist. The problem with that you would spend a lot of time (would do a lot of useless work) before you find out that all your efforts were for nothing. Craigslist is very good in ghosting.
