    Hello,
I wanted to make my first test on CB with a budget of $50 and see what was going to happen.

    Here is what I did:

    1) I went to CB and searched for most sold products.
    2) I selected: gravity 100+, recurred payment, mobile LP, affiliate resources and tool.
    2) I selected 1 single product with $67 ave/sell
    3) I bought a domain and put over it a simple Landing Page that redirects to the offer. No lead generation, just redirect.
    4) I created a FB ads and run it for 1 month.

    Results:

    Total $ spent: 50$
    Ads Impression: 8000
    Ads Click: 338
    CB hops: 181
    sales= 0

So my Ads was converting the 4.2% and my Landing page was converting the 53% of the traffic.
They do not look like bad results to me, but I am asking your advice, since sales are 0

    is this a good statistic?
    is this an average result?
    where can I improve?

    thank you.

Thank you. I really appreciate your comment and link.
Yes I am a beginner and I am really interested in learning and trying to promote CB products.

So too high gravity is the mistake. Clear.

    I have few question:

    - Too much affiliate competition means that you are going to pay more for PPC?
    - Reading my FB results (0,14$/click) do you still suggest to switch to Bing Ads?
    - Which subcategory would you suggest to a beginner? Health?

    thank you very much Mancar

    To answer your question above:

    - Too much affiliate competition means that you are going to pay more for PPC?
Yes and no. more competition often yields a higher CCP but I do PPC in weight loss and can get clicks for $.30 because my ads are targeted and my landing page is optimized for each of my ad groups....giving me a 9/10 quality score.

    - Reading my FB results (0,14$/click) do you still suggest to switch to Bing Ads?
Bing will be more expensive than FB but FB is not as targeted so conversions are a lot lower.

    - Which subcategory would you suggest to a beginner? Health?
Micro Niche. Health is to competitive so you want to find a micro niche. An example would be if you want to promote in the weight loss niche. dont do that as a beginner but why not choose "weight loss after pregnancy"...things like this.

to find micro niches just go to google and type in your root niche "weight loss" and click search. at the bottom of page 1 you will see "related searches" which also can be micro niches...use those or click on the related search to bring up even more. Free and easy!

Or you can stay clear of this all together and join any niche other than Health, Weight Loss, Internet/Affiliate Marketing

    thanks rjd.

I've got another question: why do you suggest Bing ads instead of google adword?
    thank you for your help.
