First timer to AC

I just submitted five articles last Sunday to AC for the first time.How long does it usually take to be paid for the submissions? Also after the first time,is it a quicker turn around time from that point on to get paid for submissions?
Should I also submit to other sites at the same time? Thanks.

Days or weeks. It used to be 3-4 days, but with Yahoo now in charge the turnaround varies greatly.

Yes, submit to other sites if you do not give exclusive rights to AC. I would submit non-exclusive if I were you.

But enjoy your $2.40 per article
