So, this is my first time setting up a website, hosting, everything. I chose HostWinds because somebody recommended it over HostGator. Anyways I don't know where to go from here...

I want a WP site. I've already purchased a theme, and I have no idea where to go to now. it's all new to me still... Can someone please be so kind and help me out or walk me through it? I'd appreciate it very much

    Thank you

Go to their cPanel - they will email you the details. Google "install WP on cPanel". Can't believe you got to BHW and not know how to Google out basics like this.

On your hosting you should have Cpanel, login and look for "Fantastico" and install wordpress. After installing WP. Upload your theme and do changes. :D

On youtube you will get everything, just search for some nice tutorial video's in YT. And get started. If you are keen on designing i advice you to hire a developer and make the work done.

It looks like you need to do some research... it's hard at first but you'll learn along the way.
I believe the host has some FAQs or better yet contact their support for assistance.

you should have a softaculous menu on the bottom part of your cpanel. You can install it with a few clicks, be sure that you deleted the "/wp" from the path which is prefilled
