First time thinking of selling my website

Hello BHW community.

After 10 years of working on my website (social media services like followers/views etc.etc) i am thinking of selling it. This is my first website i ever made and its like my child but after being in this market from the golden era to the todays hardest competition i think its time to move to other things.
My questions to people who have experience are.

1) What is the best approach to deal with this? Should i find someone to flip it for a % or should i do it alone? I have no experience at all and i think someone will give me more value than the value i get alone.
2) What are the most important stats to find ? Its a 10 years old domain with .net . i will gather total traffic/profit and emails from mailing list.
3) This is most likely be answered with the 1st question aswell but what payment method is the best to you to be safer?
4) Any way to evaluate the cost of my website and don't be out of line ?

Motion Invest is one option, FE International or Empire Flippers if the site has a good turnover and valuation.

Doing it yourself, use Escrow.

Empire Flippers is sketchy.

Personally after dealing with all of them, I'd go with Quiet Light Brokerage.

I have dealt with them all and saying bad things about each of them does nothing for my own good, while it may help you.

If you search YouTube for internet marketing topics, I suppose you'll find Matt Diggity outting how every Empire Flippers client site makes money through a partnership with EF. They basically use your data to replicate what you're doing.

As for private encounters, you're just going to have to take my word.

I would recommend absolutely using a reputable brokerage if it's a legitimate business with good traffic/revenue. Don't take the chance or waste your time listing it on Flippa or trying to sell it yourself in another way, especially since you've never sold a site before.

A brokerage will ensure you (mostly) only deal with serious buyers, they will handle all of the marketing and much of the communication for you, and you'll probably get a higher price than if you tried to list it on your own (even with the commission added in).

Quiet Light or FE International are the 2 I'd look at. I tried selling several businesses through Empire Flippers in the past, and these businesses had very strong revenue that was growing year over year, but Empire Flippers couldn't get any of my shit sold.

I think Empire is a good place to buy an existing business, but next time I go to sell, I'm definitely using Quiet Light or FE International.
