First Time As An Affiliate! Please check my strategy!

So, here goes nothing.
I've found an EMD with about 1000 ES/per month and more than 3500-4000 other related searches.
It's for the Romanian market, or more exactly is for the Romanian ladies that want to look good.
As I am pretty new to IM, I thought that it would be a good idea to ask for an opinion.
So, here is my strategy:
1. install an e-commerce wp theme on site;
2. add products, about 3-5 every other day (about 35 products available only);
3. start to submit it to directories (although on .com they are somehow useless, they still work in google.ro); 4-5 per day;
4. buy a few advertorials on some popular blogs (a bit restricted by a tight budget, though);
5. comment on women related blogs and forums, with a link wherever is possible besides the signature (i will use the signature slot too);
6. start writing some articles so i can submit them into some article directories;
7. start building some profile links manually;


And that's pretty much it. Any other suggestions?

You don't have article on your site? If so, i think it's so hard to get rank for SEs

I would start with 1 or 2 articles posted on your site a day. I would also post testimonials etc. Product reviews are also helpful.

Not a bad start. I agree with the above poster, you'll need to add articles to your site. Seems you could use videos to help you out. Those "How to do your makeup" videos always seem to do well. Yanswers is still a good option as long as it's done right. I think a good Facebook page is about mandatory nowadays as well. All that plus what you are already doing should be enough to get the ball rolling.

Do you have an Adwords account or Facebook ads account? For an eCommerce site these two will definitely help you out. Look around for some free vouchers. Also, you could look into an xrumer blast, I don't think they are terribly expensive (I don't have much experience with xrumer though so you might need to educate yourself a little on it).

You never know what people will watch until you try. Look at all the dumb stuff people watch already.

Well, you could Blue Hat and back date your articles so its looks like your site has been around longer. That might not be completely Blue Hat but you get the idea.

hello. Your plan looks good enough although i would suggest to post 1 or two articles a day on your site and rewrite them to make them unique and submit to article directories to bring in traffic. Also, surf for some adwords and facebook coupons, the cheapest i know of if you dont find a free coupon is adcoupon, google it. Videos will help you as well as creating a facebook page and twitter. Make sure to dig you articles and word of mouth plays a role in your success. Ask the experienced and dont ask the knowledgable, as the saying goes. Thanks. I don't know if it's affordable to buy adwords coupons as the comission is a bit low, and therefore, the ROI would take about one year or so...

you def need to get some good contetn on there.

maybe even concentrating on content before the products.

i would also spend at leats $20-30 per month on better quality links for each keyword set you are concentrating on.
