first time affiliate , any advice & tips?

hi i am new to the affiliate business, i registered for aliexpress & clickbank, and posting online in facebook groups & twitter, after 7 days i have a few clicks but not much & no cash, can anyone give me some advice or tips to let people buy for real?, i am not trying to get ultra rich, i just want to see my counter go a few dollars up.

What i would suggest is-
1) see you have good attractive and convincing landingpage
2) you are not promoting super competitive product ( look for 50-150 gravity on CB)
3) target tier 1 country
you can find lots and lot about it ,just try it out and please do not invest more money initially.....

ok, only i dont use a website, and wasnt planning , is it recommended? i thought putting links on social sites.

Create a website, rank it for relevant keywords, then convert the traffic.

Social media is only one way to get traffic. Target keywords with buyer intent. (ex. best TV, cheap TV, TV for sale, buy TV)

I prefer google / bing / yahoo traffic over anything else. it's hard go get ranked but it's still possible if you make the effort.

Why don't you create both a landing page and a blog. The more means you use the faster you reach the goal.
