Backlink quality matters way more than DA/DR for me.

I’d rather take a lower metric domain with clean, relevant links from real sites than a DR50 pumped with spammy redirects and junk backlinks.

First check the domain’s backlink profile and history (Wayback + spam check) to avoid buying a penalized or spammed domain

I always check previous penalties and deindexing issues, if google deindexed it then recovering rankings can become difficult later.

For me, backlinks come first but not just the amount, more like are they real and relevant or just spam. Then I check Wayback Machine to see what the site used to be (to avoid weird spam or PBN history)
