Girl I've been hanging out with for a while wants to get into camming. She used to be a stripper, so she knows how to move, and wants to make content and livestreams that are more 'burlesque'/solo striptease oriented.
Naturally I suggested rev. share in exchange for traffic + some branding.
I've never done any marketing in adult niche, most of my exp. has been white hat/grey hat and with local brick and mortar businesses as clients.I started looking into traffic sources for camgirls, and right now I have:
1. twitter - - lot of the older camsite customers seem to dwell here, the ones who've been simping since 2008 etc
2. reddit - - slightly younger crowd?
3. "boomer" adult sites - - forums that look like they were made in 1990, have a lot of users from the early/mid 2000s - - you have to warm up your account a lil so you don't get called out, but may be a good lead source
4. tinder, bumble etc
5. porn tube sites - - may or may not be a good option for this girl, since what she wants to do is quite tame compared to the content on most tube sites, but worth a shot
What I wanted some more info on is the customer avatars of guys who sign up for sites like MyFreeCams, OnlyFans etc. In the whitehat world this was always easy to do, I would just do google searches on the usernames and find all the other forums, groups my clients potential customers were signed up on, but for obvious reasons, simps on OF, MFC etc use pseudonyms so it's hard to map out a good customer avatar.
For those of you who've made serious money managing camwhores, what demographic/psychographic patterns have you noticed in the paying customers they get? I'm seeing some obvious ones (like the fact that they all love gaming) but it would be cool so hear some more subtle distinctions.
