hi

finally. I finished my first flipping project and the website is ready to sell. I know about steps and other thing but I just don't know how much should I ask for it.

================================================
Domain:
I bought a PR3 / 5 years old for it.

Script:
Wordpress + some usefull plugins installed

Contents:
200,000 Song Lyrics | A to Z list

Theme:
Great Premium Theme [pro]

SEO:
All-in-one wp plugin + some other stuffs
================================================

so.. how much? auction or buy now? should I have reserved price?

PS:
Should I hide script so no one knows it's WP? or it's against the rules?

Thank you very much for your time

Does the website has traffic or revenue?

If not i don't think its worth so much.Selling turnkey sites don't work so well anymore.

no it's new but the domain has a little value.

ok give a number my friend. anything you think

Seat of the pants appraisal: take the monthly earnings, multiply by 5 or 6. That's your likely selling price.

If you don't have earnings, your site is worth whatever someone wants to pay for it. If some investor really likes your site, you may sell, otherwise sites with no earnings are a question mark.

Some go for 10x the earnings, those gotta be really special. Good luck!

What the website traffic? Whats the earnings? These are the 2 important questions or points considered by buying or selling any website. So, it would be a better deal if you come up with some accurate details of your website.

Nice that you included how much it makes a month in that description?!!?

Traffic ? Revenue? I think those are the important criterias , If you have an acceptable number then you can think of buy it, otherwise work your rank to get more traffic therefore more proft

Is this a fresh flip? Hold onto it a bit and drive traffic. Potential buyers are going to ask for traffic/analytics stats. No need to hide that it's a wp site. Buyers will want to evaluate how easy it is to maintain.

When the site is actually ready... Auction + Buy it Now. Be sure you have a reserve price.

No real value to a buyer without income and traffic. There aren't that many suckers on Flippa anymore.

You have the cart in front of the horse. :)

You research, see what sells, calculate if you can build the same or better and know what you can get for it. There should be no guesswork after the site is finished.

Since it has zero Revenue and Zero Traffic It's not worth much.

I know you mention the PR3 Domain but that's a little misleading since the PR3 would have been on the website that was associated with the Domain, not the Domain itself.

It's worth whatever you can get for it, sorry to not be able to say an exact amount but that's the case. Go to estibot and do an appraisal

Or hang on to it, get traffic, get some revenue and then you can charge 6x - 8x sometimes even 12x monthly revenue.

Good luck!

VivaHost, bartosimpsonio, 6 seosoldier, west13, yuuzokun

It's a new website and doesn't have much traffic. I thought because of its content and design and plugins it could sold easy.
I can work on SEO so it can grow fast but I really don't have much time these days and I should sell it fast but as you guys said I shouldn't expect high price. It's ok. It's just the first experience. right?

thanks for your opinions

one question:
what kind of websites will sell good these days at flippa? apart of Traffic which group of websites are attractive these days? ;)
If I have a kind of online service like youtube converter/downloader or some online generators, are these better than some lyrics website?

you're right. the domain and website don't belong together but I thought because of same kind of data it worth a little. I guess I should think about my thoughts;)

Yes! I'm sure its cost will grow really fast but I guess this is ok too, until I'm learning.

Thank you. Thank you all. I'm making its last make-up and adding some CPA and I'll list it tomorrow.
I will post the results here.

you wont get much for the site
if the site new without traffic and earning you wont get much, most of them are selling for 25$
if the site really good so you can get to 75$ but you will make way more if you will also get traffic and make money

sites that make money (even if its 5$ a day) are selling for more then 200$

Song lyric sites aren't really worth anything without traffic/revenue, there's too much competition. The PR3 domain may bring the value up to about $30-50 depending on the backlink profile, if it's a really great domain like you say then it may go for $100 based on that.

You could spend more time developing the site to make it worth more. Personally I would say you need to spend more time researching before building a site - unless you've come up with a good USP you've chosen a bad niche.

more than PR are the links of the site powerful? if you are going to factor in seo factors such as pr the backlink portfolio of the domain is important
