Hello there,

For the last few weeks i've been doing my research into CPA, and I've come across many people who are trying to promote their mentoring service? I was wondering, what are they gaining for their mentoring service and whether or not they're an effective way of entering this field?

I've seen it throughout the internet, youtube etc. Why isn't it permitted,

We do not make or enforce the rules all throughout the internet but it is not allowed here as it is just too easy to rip someone off.

I'd stay away from 99.9% of those that are offering it all throughout the internet too as they usually make their money showing you how to make money as opposed to actually putting into play what they teach.

Exactly, it would be like you're outside freezing to death and the guy next to you who is also freezing to death wants to sell you a guide on how to build a tent.

There was a point when I thought about doing this too but I did some additional reading of the forums and have learned a lot from that itself. Having a mentor seems like it could make the learning process easier but this field isn't easy — you need to put the work and effort into it to get what you need.
