Yeah sad story. I think his wife is in critical condition and the scumbag that stabbed them jumped off the tower to his death.

He was probably so messed up in the head, had nothing going for him, was a loser, and wanted to go out with a bang. He probably felt neglected and wanted to be noticed.

Such a cowardly act to do.
 
I think that guy just wanted to kill somebody no matter about the nationality of the victim...I think he even stabbed the chinese tour guide.
 
Yeah the tour guide got stabbed too but I think she is ok. The guy was a coward and wanted attention before he left this world.
 
First murder? It sounds like Olympic is held for murder. So when will be the second?
 
With all the terrorists nowadays who knows how many are trying to target the Olympics. Already first day of Olympics, first murder. Hopefully this rate does not continue.
 
This is such terrible news. I cannot believe it and on the first day too. Shameful.

The Olympics brings together people from all across the world and unfortunately because of the millions of people the games attract it also attracts people with an opposing agenda.
 
there is always a "REASON" behind such activities, no body is going to kill someone for nothing. but whatever, its really sad to see someone dying who came for enjoyment and entertaintment..

Sad news for the guy and his family but things like these are pretty random. Unfortunately people get murdered every day around the world. It's not really Olympics related - could easily have been a story about a tourist getting stabbed by a crazy local - the Olympics is a mere coincidence.
