First month of CB

Well after my initial hickup with the big G which i posted about a while back, I have now had my first month of being a clickbank affiliate. I just wanted to share my stats with you guys for the product im promoting to see if it is normal. I'm quite happy with how much ive made this month ($450) but things could always be better. Anyways here my last months analytics:

1900 hops, 300 order form impressions, 33 order submits and 18 gross sales.

Could of been a whole lot better if all of those sales went through but oh well.
Lastly just wanted to say a big thank you to all you blackhatters out there who have provided me with a tonne of information which has made my first 450 dollars possible.

stats look fairly normal.
$450 is great for your first month.

just keep doing whatever you're doing and try to do it better :)
 
The part that I would work on is the 300 order form impressions dropping to 33 order submits. In my experience that is a big drop off, but there can be a lot of reasons, like an expensive product causing the customer to abandon, a product with a high price that isn't actually revealed until you hit the order form causing abandon, a product that has a recurring charge that isn't really revealed until you hit the order form causing abandon, or a hoplink that just goes directly to an order form, which is really bad, but I have seen people do it. See if you can figure out what is causing 9 out of 10 people to get scared away by the order form. If you can up the conversion rate even a little you will make over $1,000 a month.

Seems like you've got the knack for this. Keep up the good work!
 
Do you link directly to vendor landing page or do you have your own landing page?
 
Nice job! Congrats on your success. Those conversions fall into the normal of things. Pick a few more products and test them and when you have 2 or 3 that convert well, scale up your work. Good job, keep working hard :)

That is great to hear, now opnce you find a hot product on CB, remake your own and sell it straight with your payal.
 
Making $450 for your first month is really good. I think as long as you scale up your marketing efforts that yield sales and drop the marketing techniques that aren't as successful, you can easily make more money next month. Now you have gotten the monkey off your shoulders and know what it takes to make some cash, you can start experimenting with other products and different marketing techniques.

Now that you have some income, you can even start spending money on marketing like PPC or outsourcing your articles. PPC and outsourcing will free up a lot of your time and will allow you to increase your traffic from different resources.

Most people fail to make money in their first month and give up. But you have a nice income coming in which not only gives you more financial freedom, but it also boosts your confidence, knowing that you can make money will just motivate you to make even more money for the following months!

Good luck with your internet marketing campaign, you're off to a great start.

Not really much to say mate, i made a site that is a review of the product im selling. Have a few hoplinks in the review. I just promote on adwords display network, costing me about 2 cents a click.

And take a look at guys like john reese, john carlton, eban pagan, frank kern and ed dale. They are big buddies and mega rich. I bet they share all of eachothers secrets. Compare what they do and take out the common elements all of their landing have etc.

Pay close attention to what those guys are doing, believe it will work out for you!

Well done. Just earned $340 in the first month of promoting one product.

My stats are Hop count 210, Hops per order 21, Order form impression 72, Submit 12, Sales 11.

Most of my sales in from being number in Google for my chosen keyword. Tried Adwords with free google credit but got a warning from Goolge that couldnt not use Adwords for a landing page to sell affiliate products.

Going to try to scale up and hopefully be making at least $1k a month by end of this year doing this on the side.

Hi, thats a good money for single product. If I am not wrong you are targeting micro niche, right? How many unique visitors your are getting per day on average?
