My sites are doing the Sammy Sosa dance right now. I removed alot of paid links on 1 site and it shot up

The search queries graph on g's webmaster tools is showing this "An improvement to our top search queries data was applied retroactively on 12/31/13". The site I use on that acct bounced around a bit, but settled higher.

A few of my websites have seen a rough 20% drop. Mainly for targeted keywords, however. Longtails are unaffected. Over half my websites have yet to move.

On my wmt account there was a line drawn on the chart labelled update around New year, and my traffic and impressions jumped dramatically from that point.

Was on the third page, result #4, now its on the first page, result #11.

Just reporting. One site dropped by 2-3 pages for kw that were on page 1 while another site all the kw that were NIT100 are now on pages 2-3..WTF???
