First link building for a new site?

Hi Blackhatters, I am interested i knowing what link building strategy you follow for a new affiliate site (not a churn burn)
Do you hit it with PBN links right of the bat or do you make some other links first and wait for a month or so before creating PBN links?

for new website !! try to make links from authority sites and promote on social networking sites !!!

It amazes me how people make up things without any real fact.

There is no first or last type of links. Do it as you wish.

Go with manual social bookmarks then start some web2.0s and other type of links

I'd hit it with PBN links straight away - don't you want Google to assign some trust to your site from day 1 instead of building the lower quality links which says to Google "I'm an SEO"?

If you can, PBN all the way and i hope you ain't talking about building backlinks directly to your affiliate link.

If that's what you meant then build an original site.

articles with content relevant to your site is allways a good start link from popular blogging networks.

I build PBN links as soon as I publish the homepage article. However, in some cases, I build diverse links from web 2.0s, document submission sites, etc. before building PBN links.

If you are doing long term seo,then there is absolutely no problem if you send 1,2 PBN links to your site in a month,also create a highly targeted,niche related,fb fan page,you can make more sales from fb before even your site starts to rank.

Social signals is a great way to start. However, I do not spend my time generating social signals for my sites. I'd rather spend that time acquiring more links.

The PBN is the solution for you. If targeted is better but you cna take general PBN.
After that make social signals activity and 2.0 web properties.

Make grow your link popularity in gradual manner, not 3000 backlinks in one month, but 50/100 links a month.
