I made a FB AD using the video option for the campaign as I wanted as many people to view the video.

I tried setting up a campaign but when I was ready to post it there was error every single time. The way I got around this was creating a post, and then going to my ads manager to create a campaign using the existing post.

The thing is, now that I go on that business page I see two posts with the video, one claiming it has reached 100 or so people, and the other claiming my ad reached a few thousand. I now have two posts with the same video on top of each other. Is this because I did the create campaign using existing post? This looks terrible on a business page obviously.

I would double check your browser, you might have an ad block plugin or something interfering. Maybe use IE or install another browser with no plugins.

I don't have any plugins on chrome other than a facebook pixel. Maybe it was a one time issue but with facebook I find that unlikely. They seem to always be up.

Trying to figure it out before I make a second campaign

I am guessing what you basically did was create two video posts, and one of those you did paid promotion.
Facebook ads does not create posts on your Facebook page, it creates what is called a dark post which is hidden.

I would suggest deleting one of those two posts and having just one with the paid promotion on it.
