first fanpage is gone :( disabled by facebook

howdy people

my first fanpage (mafiawars) with arround 38k of fans was disabled just a few minutes ago...

does anybody know how to solve such a matter? there are so many mafia wars fanpages out there which are not removed, why mine?

of course im no representative of zynga but do you have an idea so they might restore the fanpage?

If your fanpage :

1. Increased with too many fans too quickly
2. Didn't really mention what it entailed ( was it a fan page? did you put the word official anywhere ).
3. Added links to different rooms.

Usually one of these three things raises a flag to them, and then they can check the links you added, your outbound links ( or any outbound links related to your group ), the types of fans in your group, etc.

When the ban you, you have to email disabled At Facebook and ask them why. If you know the rules, pretend you don't. It will take 2-7 days before it get resolved; you still may not end up with your fan page back.

DISCLAIMER: Most times you can get away with having a fan page with a name that doesn't belong to you. But know that if you get reported, or if Facebook doesn't like it, they will pull the plug and have no mercy to give you any reasons.

As for these groups, there are many people in the forum who coordinate these groups and pages everyday and will have more to say on the matter.

Maybe the competition reported you...happened to me on ebay.

yes, the page was created not by me but one of my fake accounts^^
but i got a warning too because i was admin there :#
so better to have a 2nd fake account as 2nd admin in case the first one get banned

any other tips we all should do to prevent a disabled fanpage?
or anything we can do to get it back on track?

That's not true that pages can't grow too fast. The point is you don't want to spam your users before its a BIG page. You wait to cash in and you can cash in big

You can create a page and have it go viral and it has 200k/500k and more in a week. You just let the fans take it over, and when your interacting you can link to other pages is fine. Then when its big you create a site around the page and everything that you publish goes to ALL your fans pages and you can get a crazy amount of traffic.

There's a ton of very valuable niches within facebook to tap into, pages can be used for tremendous leverage, access this leverage through creative ideas and lots of friends

Hilarious. By the sound of things, for every FIXNUM users, you want to create another account and make that admin too. lol
