I started a campaign for a bookkeeping SaaS a couple days ago. I'm limiting the geography to my immediate vicinity so I can offer in person visits for onboarding. I'm getting a pretty good CPC, but no signups. The signup bar is pretty low - company name, email, password. The ad has been running for a couple days. I set a budget of $30/day but its not using it up yet. The product is automation focused bookkeeping, primarily for users of Quickbooks. Price point is $249/mo.

Any thoughts? Do I just need to wait longer?

You probably don’t just need to “wait.” Right now your funnel asks people to jump straight from an ad to a $249/mo signup, which is a big ask for bookkeeping. broaden your targeting a bit so the budget actually spends btw, else its a bit useless but I see where you’re coming from. But yes, see how it goes in a few days and make a decision from there.

Actually it's interesting that you interpreted the ask that way. The signup is actually just creating an account. I probably need to add " no credit card required" or 30 day free trial.

If you spend little and get no signups, it often means the offer, price, or audience don’t match well.

wait a few more days and see how it goes but there is probably an issue with your offer, hence it is not converting as it should / as you'd expect it to convert.

I noticed conversion lag when my landing page didn’t clearly explain time savings, maybe highlight automation more upfront
