First Brand Links for a blog

I started my blog about 2 months ago.
Now I want to gradually start building links to the homepage (to the name of my brand).

What is a good way to get started for this?
What kind of links should I build for this.

Other than that, you should make sure to get some nice authority links to home page as social profiles won't cut it.
