First affiliate marketing post.

Let's say it's my day 1, do i just pick out a product from amazon and review it even if i'm not registered as an affiliate marketer? Because how else will i get started? (As far as i know, you have to have a good website with good traffic to get approved but as a newbie, i don't have either of that). And i know it's highly unlikely, but what if i actually was able to sell the product, do I not get a cut since I'm not an affiliate marketer? How does a newbie like me get started on amazon affiliates? Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.

Your first job would be to decide on a niche and getting well accustomed with how Amazon affiliate works, make sure you go through the below threads as they are all you need to get you going. Even if you are not registered on Amazon affiliate how are you going to get paid for the video/blog?

You need to register for the amazon affiliate program, which you can do with your already existing Amazon account, if you want. The approval of your website is very easy actuallly: Once you've picked a niche, start building the website. Then submit it to Amazon in the registration process. The website does'nt even have to be finished, so you save a lot of work.

Trust me, it ain't easy to get lucky on Amazon. Better focus on putting out more content (without the affiliate links) to get traffic first.

No, you don't have to have a world-beater site to get accepted on Amazon. Just start with it and deal with issues as they come.
