I made my first 512.13 with my own clickbank product without any affiliate.Received cheque today, To my surprise there were some affiliate but were sending crap visitors.. And me without much marketing with single product made 512.13..
How crap are clickbank affiliates?? or am I doing something wrong?? or do I only expect that much from clickbank, although i have a very good selling product if right visitors are targeted.

Any advice or suggestions???

Clickbank affiliates are well trained as compared to other affiliate networks. I am selling my product on click2sell but most of the sales come from my own efforts. There are very few affiliate sales. On the other hand I promote many clickbank products and always generate scores of sales every month. If you want to improve your sales, you should contact your affiliates with your newsletter where you or some guest internet marketer should share with them one or two result oriented marketing techniques, you may also add some case studies of some of your affiliates later on in order to excite your other affiliates to follow your marketing techniques and get the same results as your affiliate of case study got.

Moreover, you must also maintain a blog following the same concept and share your blog feeds across the internet. This additional twist will pull more affiliates and will also help them promote your product by using new marketing techniques.

Do you provide training to your affiliates on your affiliate page? If you do, do you also provide banners, images, and pre-written e-mail campaign marketing series? I know that a lot of CB affiliates are trained marketers but sometimes if you provide a little extra help it can really get their creative juices flowing that will help to get them started in the right direction. Either that or just give it a little time for your gravity to build up.

BTW congratulations on your success! :)

Thanks guys for your wonderful suggestions. To be honest I am not providing any marketing strategies support, email series or banners and so on. I have never contacted my affiliates.
Should I promote my products and affiliate blog side by side?? or shall I concentrate more on marketing products?? I thought i was doing some part time rather a kind of hobby, looks like if I need earning a real cash I should be doing it full time. or outsource?? How do u guys manage your time, coz I know developing all that you have mentioned takes hell lot of time??

nice work bro. scale up as much as u can

Gosh this thread sounds like self-advertising and fishing for affiliates....

What a joke, I have never said anything about my product. have I ??
Please do not post just to increase your post count or to hijack the thread. !!Stay away!! if you do not have anything to suggest

I think if you offer marketing tools for your affiliates you'll get better results. Banners and graphics and buttons, a demo on cloaking hoplinks, maybe sample ad copy and keyword lists and some articles. I always like to see that stuff when I'm picking products to sell. It's much easier to spin provided content and add ready graphics to a site. One product I'm promoting the author says he will even do an audio interview with you so you can have your own "insider" tips to put on your site.

great, I however feel the need of dissociating product site and affiliate site. coz personally if I am buying something from a site that has many marketing and affiliate hypes I would probably not trust the product..
I am saying this presuming product site having an affiliate page for downloading marketing stuff . I hope I am not mistaken. Is there any way to dissociate this?

Congrtz on making some money xsubodh, care to let us know what product you created.. maybe we would be interested in helping you promote it.

+1 for dis!

some nice advice @13. what I found to be working well are incentives for leading affiliates. not many sellers have direct incentives, and with all the hungry crowd at CB you might stand apart.

as for @10 - expressing opinions if free. so far the OP obliges, and fair game to him. you sure have a lot to say, why don't you start a thread and share your experience? btw, I always check the history, as I did with yours. Good luck with whatever you're doing!

Dude - here's as simple as it is. The name of the game is to get other people to do the work for you, hence recruiting affiliates. Take a look at the highest performing products on CB and you will notice one thing they all have in common - their affiliate support is through the roof.

Put together a resource center with email ads, banners, free articles and anything else they can use to promote your products.

Have contests for your affiliates, and build a list so you can keep them inspired and in the loop with the latest methods you're using that are working.

Give them incentive and they will bring you money while you shit.

Congads on getting your own product out there. It's actually a good thing that you aren't satisfied with you're earnings but seriously I think it's a win that you even make 500+ with no real training material for your affiliates. I can see where you can scale this big time with some more effort, keep at it.

Thanked for that tidbit, it amazing how much of a difference something like that can make on this type of project. I just signed up on the affiliate side of ClickBank and I haven't really figured out what to do with it yet. Hmm.

Sorry mate I am not fishing for affiliates here and I am serious of what I am doing. I shall rather open up another thread if needs be. However I am learning and improving my product every-time.Although I am new to clickbank I am not new to selling my products online and making money. I am unto working on my new product, will possibly start an affiliate thread at affiliate section at some point. I am purely into seeking wonderful suggestions through this thread.
Thank you guys for your valuable suggestions which means a lot to me. Thank you once again.
